Equilibrium - 12 days Herbal Grain Spirit 46%, 0.7L

An unconventional grain spirit that brings together bourbon, aquavit, and vodka distillates, aged on virgin oak. Created in collaboration with Sam from Brønnum, it was designed as an inviting first step for whisky drinkers curious about something distinctly Danish. The aromatic botanicals of aquavit soften the experience, making it approachable even for those who usually avoid herbal spirits.

The profile is rich and complex, with layers of spice, oak, and herbaceous character, followed by a lingering finish that bridges classic American bourbon with Scandinavian aquavit traditions. It works exceptionally well in an Old Fashioned. The spirit is already spiced, so bitters are unnecessary, just add a touch of sugar and ice.

A true Danish way of showcasing a traditional American bourbon. A bastard spirit born from the pursuit of the unknown. Spicy, sweet, and remarkably clean, it stands as an equilibrium between Brønnum Cocktail Bar and EtOH Spirits.

Made from bourbon from Indiana, wheat vodka from Latvia, and aquavit from Denmark. Aged in a virgin oak cask.

NOTES:
Subtle yet complex nose with pear/banana, oak, caramel, botanicals, and yeast. Very Bourbon-like. The flavor is quite different, also smooth, but leaves impressions of Scandinavian aquavit: lots of spices and aromatic herbs all lingering in a long after taste.
