Meticulously aged aquavit, with elegant notes that can only be achieved through the art of maturation on a pristine virgin oak cask.

Aquavit is a traditional Scandinavian spirit associated with Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. For us, it's a way to showcase Danish heritage and offer something new in our portfolio. 
By blending traditional Nordic flavours with innovative aging techniques, we created a sophisticated spirit that pays homage to tradition while offering a novel experience for consumers.

Aromatic nose full of botanicals and exotic spices. Notes of burnt wood and whet forest floor adds a pleasant sweetness which lies behind the primary aromas. The mouth is dominated by herbs and spices, leaving impressions of curry leaves, cardamom, cloves, and allspice. A soft and "oaky" aquavit, to be enjoyed on it's own or in a cocktail. 

Aquavit Old-Fashioned

Old-Fashioned might be the best example of a classic cocktail. When American bars started mixing cocktails in the 1800th century, they were using the spirits which were at hand: whiskey, bourbon, and rye. Since the recipe wasn’t perfectly defined, many bars quickly developed their own variants of the drink, which was originally known simply as "Whiskey Cocktail". Eventually, these variants moved so far away from the original, that the customers started asking for an “Old Fashioned”.
By using Caraway Aged Aquavit, Bo Nygaard Larsen has created a modern, Scandinavian version of this iconic cocktail.

1 sugar cube
2 dashes of Regans’ Orange Bitters
6 cl. EtOH Spirits Caraway Aquavit
1 Orange zest / dehydrated orange slice

Place the sugar cube in a lowball glass and add 2 dashes of Regans’ Orange Bitters. Add half of the aquavit and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Gently add one large ice cube (or 3 small) and pour the rest of the aquavit on top. Stir one more time and garnish with a slice of orange zest.
